The Best Time to Travel is Right Now (vacation destinations)

By Jerry Waxman

You may think I’m nuts for saying this when the world is looking at an economic meltdown, when people’s salaries are hitting the basement, and prices are climbing straight through that hole in the ozone layer. But I’m going to say it again:

“NOW is the Best Time to Travel”

I have a number of reasons for saying this.. Let’s start with just one: a philosophical reason.

Have you ever heard people talking about the good old days? The fact is there never were “good ole” days. Back in those good old days that old people like to remember their grandparents would remember the “better, older days.”

The point is, if we think about it, there were always things that were better once. It would be wonderful to bring some of those things back, but it’s not likely that will ever happen.

So how does this pertain to travel. Well, there have been better times for travelers. Much of what I write about, you just can’t do them anymore because conditions have changed. I suspect conditions will change and change again, and not entirely for the better.

So, there may be better times ahead for traveling - and I hope there will be. But there’s no sense waiting for them. Based on historical trends, the best time for traveling is today.

Moral of the story: Don’t wait for better days. Start working on your dream right now.

Magnetic Attractions of San Francisco Beckons
By Jack Strauss

One of the most densely populated cities in the USA; San Francisco has something for all ages. From Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown to Fishermans Wharf, San Francisco attractions beckon tourists from all over the world. This charismatic city is also known for diverse multi-cultured population, multi-flavoured cuisine, and lifestyles.

Here is the list of some of the major crowd pulling attractions of San Francisco:

Golden Gate Bridge

Millions of people visit this beautiful bridge each year which is the most photographed bridge in the world. Driving on this 746 feet high, 1.7-mile bridge in a classy limo is mind-blowing. Contact a San Francisco limousine providing company for hiring a limo and cross the bridge in style.

Alamo Square

It is one of the most photographed sites as Alamo Square frames the old Victorian styled homes against a backdrop of tall skyscrapers. Some of these Victorian homes have been turned into Bed & Breakfasts while some are open to the public for viewing.

Alcatraz

Once a chilling prison to lock up hard-core criminals, Alcatraz now attracts thousands of visitors. Tour guides here recount history of inmates in languages convenient to the group.

Lombard Street

Known as the “crookedest street in the world,” the brick-lined Lombard Street attracts a large number of visitors each year. It is fun to drive on this one way street with sharp curves and which passes by grand mansions. Drive slowly and take the curves carefully.

Cable Car Rides

When you are in San Francisco, do spare some time to enjoy a ride on a cable car. It is truly fun and your kids would surely love it. Considered as San Franciscos moving historic landmark, it still passes through the 100-year-old routes.

Fishermans Wharf

The one place where you can get scrumptious and fresh sea food, particularly the mouth watering crabs, it has to be Fishermans Wharf. The rich aromas of the Fishermans Wharf attract thousands of visitors and make it the citys one of the most popular tourist destination.

PIER 39

Located just a few blocks away from Fisherman’s Wharf, PIER 39 is a festive marketplace which contains more than 110 stores, several restaurants with lovely views of the bay and mouth watering dishes.

Chinatown

Chinatown is a city within a city. It is home to the largest number of Chinese present outside China. Streets are lined with grocery stores, tea shops, theatres, and restaurants. Dont forget to collect the fascinating souvenirs from exotic shops here.

Mission Dolores

Founded in 1776, Mission Dolores is the oldest standing structure in the fabulous San Francisco. It has survived two major earthquakes and is still relatively intact.

Exploring such a beautiful city with so many attractions is not possible in a public transport which is usually very crowded. To see the sights and to travel around the place, a limo is the best mode of transport any given day. A limo makes journey comfortable and you can enjoy the marvellous things, city has to offer without worrying about the parking or traffic jams.

Check on the net and find a reputed San Francisco limousine providing company to organize a luxurious San Francisco trip for you.

Where To Find The Best Premium Vacation Memberships And Specials Worldwide
By Kristi Ambrose

Of course if your wanting a nice vacation you could just go to travelocity or to expedia but what if you want a really superb vacationing experience? What if you want the best of the best and you won’t take no for an answer? Well lucky for you there are websites online that offer premium memberships to some of the top 4 and 5 star resorts on the planet. It’s true!

These are NOT budget accommodations they are prime time, premium choice, grade A quality, and what’s better is some of them even offer wholesale prices, which means you the buyer doesn’t have to pay a huge chunk of change for a property. Listed below you will find three of the best memberships out there. These are in ranking order so number one is the ultimate number two is second ultimate and so on and so forth!

Network Resorts -

Access to more than 5,000 choice resorts worldwide, it also offers admittance to luxury resorts that usually require a timeshare purchase. These are not budget accommodations! Members enjoy access to some of the most highly sought after destinations in the world, starting at just $298 for an entire 8 days and 7 nights. Now remember these are quality high class 4 and 5 star properties, so just by looking at the starting prices, I’m sure you can already guess that even the highest ranking property is still going to be dirt cheap.

I’m sure your wondering how this company in particular defines luxury so here are a few small examples; High-end resorts with gorgeous bedrooms, big living rooms, full kitchens, and spacious balconies overlooking the ocean. Resorts that face world class golf courses, or breathtaking views of the mountains, many of which are only available otherwise through a timeshare purchase are available through this membership!!!

Smart Share Vacations -

All privately owned properties, luxury Resorts are not open to the general public. Normally, they can only be utilized by their owners. These fabulous resorts are located in the world’s most desired vacation destinations and owned by people that can afford a 2nd home. SmartShare’s luxury resort accommodations include spacious areas designed for an extended stay, more room than a hotel room, sized for a family with multi-bedrooms, cost for a week is less than what you would pay for a hotel.

Luxury resorts are fully equipped condos with options such as 1-3 bedrooms, 1-3 bathrooms, family rooms, kitchens, hot tubs, laundry facilities, swimming pools and much more. Fun and relaxation can be accompanied with on-site or nearby amenities

Exclusive Resorts -

This is a membership for people who love to travel! Like with a country club, members pay a one time membership fee and in exchange receive access to a stunning amount of private residences, five star services and amenities. You will not only have a lot of fun with this membership but you will also save yourself some major time.

The website is very user-friendly, in that you can see all the properties available right then and there, full color photos, with all the trimmings Destinations are from A-Z; they do offer less properties than the Network Resorts option but still beautiful properties nonetheless! The one major con with this site is that the fee is.. very large. I have mixed feelings about this one.

Awesome properties, but not really efficient money wise, for middle class people. In fact, the membership alone could possibly buy you a car in the Ferrari range. Great membership options, terrific sales page, very straightforward and to the point. But again, not inexpensive at all!
